Year 1 - Institutional Engagement (Rogue Community College)

Institutional Objectives - Outcome to be achieved

A: 1. Identify cross-over and or convergence between the DQP and our Institutional Learning Outcomes, based on the overarching DQP objectives. (see attachment a and b)
• Use of the DQP concept to create a flexible non-prescriptive curricular framework of essential meta learning outcomes that characterizes, and where possible aligns, overarching degree level learning outcomes within and among Oregon’s two-year and four- year institutions.
• Foster student success in Oregon by more clearly
(1) Defining and disclosing degree-level meta learning outcomes
(2) Establishing strong articulations between and among Oregon postsecondary institutions
(3) Documenting achieved outcomes for students seeking employment
2. Engage with DQP participants with the intention of refining our assessment and reporting process.

B: 1. Evaluate the spider mapping tools and our ability to modify its criteria that will more closely resembles the data that we are currently collecting.
2. Continue evaluating our data-collection capabilities and how the data supports continuous improvement within departments, colleges, and institution.
3. Continue bringing more departments on-line doing student assessments/reporting in specifically identified courses within programs and degrees.
