Year 1 - Institutional Engagement (Portland Community College)
Institutional Objectives - Outcome to be achieved
A: Get feedback about `DQP from:
(1) faculty taking Winter Quarter Assessment Class with Gabe and Michele and possibly
(2) Learning Assessment Council members.
B: Give to faculty who are skeptical about assessment of our institutional student learning outcomes to evaluate DQP against these outcomes (We call these our “Core Outcomes”). This may result in suggestions for revisions to the Core Outcomes.
C: Encourage examination of DQP and use of LEAP (value) rubrics that align with our Core Outcomes for Subject Area Committees (SACs) that are struggling with assessment methods. This has been done for a couple of SACs. Our Assessment Coaches have been given these rubrics as resources. Connection may lead to interest in DQP (since the alignment between LEAP and DQP is close. LEAP may be easier to understand.
